Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical/health industry working with Hubs, payers, HCPs or related area.
  • 3+ years reimbursement/access/case management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in managing access complexities associated with a new to market medication.
  • Prior account management experience or experience with complex accounts.
  • Experience with specialty pharmacy products.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with HCPs, office staff, and sales team.
  • Comprehensive understanding of private/commercial insurance reimbursement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key contact responsible for patient access and reimbursement in an assigned geography.
  • Cultivate expertise in the FILSPARI onboarding process, from Patient Start Form (PSF) submission through REMS enrollment to reimbursement.
  • Educate physicians and practices on the FILSPARI onboarding process, including PSF completion, REMS enrollment, prior authorization approvals, and appeal approvals.
  • Monitor cases as they progress through the onboarding process.
  • Identify and solve complex patient access issues by working across the Hub and HCP offices.
  • Assist physicians and office staff with missing information on PSFs or REMS enrollment forms.
  • Resolve access issues including prior authorization, appeals, denials, and letters of medical necessity.
  • Partner with reimbursement stakeholders to communicate challenges and ensure patient progress.
  • Seek timely updates on case statuses and educate the sales force on reimbursement complexities.
  • Log calls and notes within a standardized platform for clear updates.
  • Lead weekly case status update meetings with sales force and leadership.
  • Identify trending barriers to reimbursement and create quarterly business plans to address them.
  • Work with the market access team to monitor payer trends and educate stakeholders.
