Xtend Healthcare is a revenue cycle management company dedicated exclusively to the healthcare industry. The company provides a range of services including full revenue cycle outsourcing, accounts receivable legacy cleanup, extended business office services, coding, and consulting engagements. As a subsidiary of Navient (Nasdaq: NAVI), Xtend leverages the strength and scale of a large-scale business processing solutions company. This position is fully remote, but candidates must reside in Hawaii. The work schedule consists of 40 hours per week, with shifts available from 7 am to 8 pm in a 24/7 environment. All work must be performed within the United States. The Access Registration - Patient Business Services Representative II plays a crucial role in the completion of patient registration for hospital and/or physician services. This position requires flexibility in learning and understanding complex hospital systems to effectively communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and physician offices, ensuring that information collection is both complete and accurate. The representative is responsible for ensuring that all patient, payer, and provider interactions comply with company, client, and federal guidelines. Key responsibilities include exceeding productivity standards, completing patient registrations post-clinical triage, verifying health plan coverage, accurately documenting patient demographics, and supporting access registration, insurance verification, and authorization functions. The representative will also be required to contact physician offices and payers for follow-up on eligibility and authorizations, maintain quality scoring and accuracy on all accounts worked, and demonstrate the ability to work independently while making responsible decisions. Additionally, the representative must maintain clear and concise documentation of all actions taken and next steps for account resolution in the patient accounting system, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies.
