The RAN Access Network Supervisor is primarily responsible for design and capacity planning for Mobile and Fixed Wireless networks. This role involves monitoring network performance during rollout or capacity expansion, ensuring that the system operates within set KPIs and maintaining the expansion path for network capacity and performance. The supervisor is also tasked with executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities in the RAN section, ensuring the quality of mobile signal capacity and coverage. This includes carrying out routine quality measurements, monitoring call quality statistics, and adjusting RF frequencies and ranges as required in the Network Infrastructure. Additionally, the supervisor oversees the installation, maintenance, and optimization of wireless radio access network communications systems, utilizing specific planning tools for wireless technologies such as radio propagation modeling and received signal prediction. The RAN Access Network Supervisor is accountable to the Operations Manager EC regarding the engineering design and system performance of the Mobile and Fixed Wireless Radio Network, applying engineering principles to design and optimize network coverage, performance, and capacity.
