About The Position

This position is located within Northern Virginia. The role involves observing, inspecting, and reporting on construction site work to ensure the integrity of technical and physical security across multiple sites. The individual will evaluate and develop physical, personnel, and technical security practices and procedures for various levels of defense-in-depth security postures. Responsibilities include producing written reports or documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and tablet delivery systems to ensure that activities, processes, investigations, anomalies, deficiencies, incidents, and compliance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 standards are reported weekly. The position also requires identifying unauthorized materials through physical and personnel searches, utilizing technological tools, and evaluating methods for placing technical penetrations or unauthorized materials through surveillance techniques. The individual will operate technical security devices and systems proficiently, either independently or as part of a team in both OCONUS and CONUS mission environments. A strong fortitude to report suspicious behavior, security infractions, and correlations between site blueprints and ICD 705 standards is essential to highlight anomalistic behavior.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office programs, report development, tablet mechanics, blueprint reading, construction projects.
  • Background in providing security practices such as executive protection, physical security, personnel security, site security, surveillance.
  • At least 2 years of ACS experience.
  • Required to work weekends, holidays, overtime and travel to different site locations as directed by ACS management.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer prior military experience (MOS to Include: MSG, Infantry, Technical Surveillance, Construction, Security Protection Details).
  • Ability to read blueprints, develop, implement and follow physical and site security practices/procedures.
  • Construction knowledge including blueprint reading, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, concrete and finishing work.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD to understand the different phases of construction.
  • OCONUS experience with a current passport.
  • Working knowledge of construction safety, construction project cycles, and common nomenclature of material.
