Metro Access Control, the largest gate contractor in the Portland metro area, is seeking a dedicated Access Control Service Technician. This full-time position involves troubleshooting and repairing access control systems, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. The technician will work with various product lines including Brivo, Doorking, ACTi, Exacq, Hanwha, and Liftmaster. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to teamwork. The technician will be expected to perform various duties as assigned by their manager, contributing to the overall success of the team and the satisfaction of our clients. Candidates for this position should possess strong communication skills, effective time management abilities, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. The role demands physical capability, as technicians must be able to lift weights ranging from 70 to 90 pounds, whether on the ground or using a ladder. A valid driver's license is required, and candidates must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles. Additionally, passing a DOT medical exam is a prerequisite for this position. The compensation for this role is competitive, with the potential to earn between $70,000 and $105,000 annually, depending on experience, along with opportunities for overtime and bonuses.
