Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
  • Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols, adapting to the needs of a manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and directions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
  • Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management to support a secure environment tailored to the unique needs of a manufacturing and industrial location.
