The Access Control Representative controls the access of people and objects on the premises in accordance with all DHL security policies and government regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Sign in/out visitors and non-STA personnel, verifying identity, providing appropriate visual identifier and arranging for escort. Verify employees’ access; prevent piggy-backing; ensure badges are visibly displayed. Conduct interior and exterior safety/security inspections or audits as directed. Monitor security cameras for suspicious activity, violations of company policy and criminal activity. Report suspicious activity, violations of company policy and criminal activity. Write clear and concise incident reports. Assist with emergency situations such as medical emergencies, evacuation, severe weather shelter/monitoring, among others.
