About The Position
The Access Care Representative performs a wide variety of activities related to scheduling, registration, financial compliance, and customer support for all services performed. The Access Care areas act as the entry point. It is the responsibility of an Access Care Representative to promote a caring, professional manner, while collecting Accurate and complete data necessary for billing and account processing. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Patient Registration/Access Care, UHS Wilson Medical Center Work Shift and Schedule: This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager. Compensation Range: $17.05 - $22.17 per hour, depending on experience This position is not eligible for benefits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Two years’ experience in medical environment with working knowledge of insurance applicable to outpatient medical care.
- Proficient computer skills
- knowledge of Medical Terminology
- experience with scheduling.
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)
- Current driver’s license
