Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service.
• Obtain information for new prescriptions including insurance and coverage details.
• Accurately interpret prescriptions and enter data into the dispensing system.
• Reconcile third party insurance billing issues.
• Retrieve, count, and measure drugs, ensuring proper packaging.
• Manage inventory ordering, receiving, and stocking.
• Maintain acceptable inventory levels of medications and supplies.
• Answer phones and obtain prescription refill information.
• Operate cash register and handle various payment methods.
• Perform administrative duties of the pharmacy.
• Complete the Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician Program.
• Develop positive relationships with employees and customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station.
• Present a professional image to patients.
