As an Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) System Administrator you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on an ACAS/ESS System Administrator joining our team to help build and enable the readiness of our Nation's Army! Involved in building, maintaining and configuring all Risk Management Framework Servers (RMF) at the Fort Carson MTC. Works with both the Army unit and the MTC technical staff with updating standalone systems, call manager and ASTi. Review STIGs and Best Business Practices (BBPs) to ensure all servers meet the required Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). You will resolve unique challenges every week! Interface with the Army's continually improving and troubleshooting MCIS and other related system software issues. Provides IT Technical Support for the MTC, its functional training teams and training units Manage MCIS and other related systems with IAVAs and updates, assist in securing the MTC servers, enabling large and medium scale exercises at the Battalion, Brigade, and Division level, improving Army combat readiness and mission command proficiency.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree in IT or related field or equivalent relevant years of experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of computer experience working independently.
  • Knowledge of HBSS (ESS).
  • IAT Level II certification in accordance with DOD 8570.01-M.
  • At least 2 years' experience in analysis and design of business applications for complex systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of ACAS experience/vulnerability scanners.
  • Strong Linux Skills (Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, RHEL, Satellite, Scripting, Ansible Playbooks).
  • Experience maintaining systems within a DoD Risk management Framework (RMF) accredited environment.
  • Experience with VMware/MS Hypervisor/RedHat VM Manager virtualization.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and configure all Risk Management Framework Servers (RMF) at the Fort Carson MTC.
  • Work with Army unit and MTC technical staff to update standalone systems, call manager, and ASTi.
  • Review STIGs and Best Business Practices (BBPs) to ensure compliance with DISA requirements.
  • Interface with Army's MCIS and troubleshoot related system software issues.
  • Provide IT Technical Support for the MTC and its functional training teams.
  • Manage MCIS and related systems with IAVAs and updates.
  • Assist in securing MTC servers for large and medium scale exercises.
