The Academy Film Archive is seeking an organized and enthusiastic intern to support its Cataloging Team with moving image cataloging projects related to the Archive’s trailer collection. This work includes enhancing metadata for two collections of Latin American trailers spanning from the 1930s through the 1980s. This position will work approximately 30-40 hours a week from June through August. Community college and undergraduate film students with a strong interest in moving image archival studies or library science with a focus on access are encouraged to apply. This internship is part of Academy Gold Rising, a summer internship enhancement program that incorporates learning opportunities, including an intensive two-day orientation, weekly panels, networking events, workshops, screenings, and mentorship opportunities with Academy members.
