About The Position

This position has a primary responsibility to track student academic data, including block exam and national benchmark assessments, in support of KYCOM’s Program for Academic Support and Success (KYCOM-PASS).

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Previous academic administrative experience is preferred.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills to assist faculty, staff, and students.
  • Must understand and maintain confidentiality in compliance with FERPA and, if applicable, HIPAA.
  • Must have excellent computer skills with efficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Google Docs/Sheets.
  • Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently and also as a member of a team.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Track student academic data and generate regular reports to support KYCOM-PASS initiatives.
  • Apply defined criteria to enroll students in KYCOM-PASS, communicate program requirements, and monitor adherence and progress.
  • Communicate regularly with the KYCOM Academic Progress Committee, Educational Support staff, faculty advisors, course directors, and the Academic Progress Director to track student completion of KYCOM-PASS requirements.
  • Generate academic snapshots and KYCOM-PASS reports in support of KYCOM Academic Progress Committee meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Academic Progress to track board readiness benchmark data and monitor student eligibility for the COMLEX-USA examinations.
  • Communicate COMLEX readiness plans to students based on COMSAE scores and predefined guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Academic Assessment to communicate with remote testing locations for the administration of secure institutional COMSAEs.
  • Assist the Director of Academic Assessment in administering weekly integrated assessments and block exams in support of the KYCOM curriculum, as well as other assessments in biomedical and clinical sciences.
  • Work cooperatively with the Administrative Assistants for Biomedical and Clinical Sciences to support the activities of Academic Affairs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
