About The Position

The Academic Program Specialist I is primarily responsible for the academic coordination of the program at the Orlando College of Pharmacy Academic Campus. This role involves managing courses, providing administrative support, and overseeing course delivery in collaboration with faculty and the instructional design team. The specialist will facilitate student support, manage Team Based Learning (TBL) sessions, and act as the primary liaison for students regarding course logistics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis on details.
• Basic knowledge of computer and AV technology.
• Basic knowledge of education/training software such as Canvas and ExamSoft.

Responsibilities

• Manage courses and coordinate the academic component in collaboration with faculty and instructional design team.
• Oversee the delivery of course materials and suggest improvements to course content.
• Assist in the management of TBL sessions and prepare necessary materials.
• Serve as the primary liaison for students regarding grading, due dates, and course logistics.
• Provide support to faculty and students to ensure smooth course delivery.
• Assist with the maintenance and updates of forms and web content related to the program.
• Help with student portfolios and document required program activities.
