The University of Arizona Cancer Center (UACC) is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative Academic Program Coordinator, Senior to support its dynamic research and training environment. As Arizona's only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center, UACC is home to more than 170 members across three robust scientific research programs-Cancer Biology, Prevention and Control, and Clinical and Translational Oncology. Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Cancer Research, Training, and Education (CRTEC), the Academic Program Coordinator, Senior oversees the daily operations of multiple science education and training programs. These programs serve undergraduate and graduate students, early-career scientists, and junior faculty. The coordinator acts as the primary point of contact for participants, evaluators, and collaborators. Responsibilities include program development, scheduling, student support services, coordinating seminars and workshops, monitoring expenditures in collaboration with the Associate Director, tracking trainee progress, evaluating program outcomes, and liaising with campus partner programs.
