New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) and the City University of New York (CUNY) are partnering to ensure that 6th - 10th grade students will be exposed to college-going culture and will have the opportunity to visit a college campus. CUNY believes that early exposure to college culture will set the foundation for success in high school, college and career. Reporting to the campus administrator (College Now Director), the CUNY Explorer Campus Field Coordinator will support the development, implementation, and oversight of the initiative at the campus. Visit guides are undergraduate students who will be recruited, hired and trained to provide an educational experience for the cohorts of visiting 6th - 10th graders and the school chaperones.
