About The Position

The Division of Rheumatology within the Department of Medicine is seeking an Associate Professor Term (open rank) - General Rheumatology. This position will provide care in both an inpatient and outpatient setting with clinical partners through the UofL Health System and the VA. Your role as a rheumatologist will be to engage in all three missions of academic medicine - teaching, research, and patient care.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board eligible in rheumatology.
• Hold a valid Kentucky medical license.

Responsibilities

• Train rheumatology fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Provide a thorough understanding of autoimmune disorders.
• Collaborate with research on clinical trials.
• Engage rheumatology fellows in the clinical trial research arena.
