About The Position

The Academic Integrity Coordinator serves as a dedicated resource for undergraduate students navigating the university’s academic integrity processes. The Coordinator helps students understand their rights and responsibilities through a student-centered, educational lens; guides them through the process; and develops educational interventions that are both restorative and preventative. The Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Academic Integrity Officer to develop and implement meaningful learning opportunities that facilitate student support, accountability, and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher).
  • Three (3) years of full time experience at the college or university level working with undergraduates, graduate student experience may be considered.
  • Experience coordinating and/or managing projects, programs and/or events.
  • Experience conducting presentations and facilitating discussions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and/or Google applications.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for students reported for alleged academic misconduct to explain procedures, possible outcomes, and their rights/responsibilities.
  • Provide clear, unbiased information about institutional policies and the judiciary process.
  • Help students prepare for hearings, including gathering documentation and understanding the process.
  • Facilitate communication between students, faculty, and the academic integrity officer.
  • Refer students to additional campus resources for support.
  • Coordinate workshops, presentations, and educational outreach for students, staff and faculty on topics related to academic integrity, including procedural guidance to instructors reporting academic misconduct and good practices for reducing academic dishonesty.
  • Collaborate with campus partners to facilitate academic integrity programming.
  • Assist with interviewing, orienting, and providing training workshops for student committee members.
  • Provide primary support for the academic integrity re-education seminar, including the development and delivery of instruction materials and presentations, classroom discussions, and the grading of assignments.
  • Provide support for the management of academic judiciary hearings, which may include confirming participant availability, preparing documentation, and communicating expectations to all participants and committee members.
  • Manage case documentation, including correspondence, evidence, and outcome letters.
  • Assist in serving as the point of contact for student and faculty inquiries about academic integrity policies and procedures.
  • Track case timelines to ensure timely resolution in accordance with institutional policies.
  • Act as a liaison to campus partners such as Registrar’s Office, Student Affairs, Academic Advising.
  • Maintain a database of confidential records/case files.
  • Track and analyze trends in data and student outcomes.
  • Prepare regular reports on case volume, outcomes, and trends for institutional review.
  • Provide feedback on university policies to ensure they remain up-to-date and responsive.
  • Assist with Division of Undergraduate Education priorities, including supporting division-wide success initiatives.
  • Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission.
