About The Position

We seek a top-notch academic instructor to support a 5th-grade student in several areas, including Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies, knowledge in Waldorf is a plus! Additional opportunities to work with K-12 students as well. The ideal tutors are knowledgeable, experienced, and professional, making learning fun, engaging, and able to work with a high degree of autonomy.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of two years of teaching/tutoring experience
• Experience working with neurodiverse students
• A fun, upbeat personality and strong interpersonal skills
• Passion for teaching and learning
• Impeccable time management & organization skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and compellingly
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
• Easy access to and proficiency with the Internet, email, and electronic communications
• Excellent references
• Must pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• Teaching Credentials is a plus
• Knowledge in Waldorf is a plus

Responsibilities
