About The Position

The Academic Initiatives Manager at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is responsible for leading and coordinating various academic initiatives, ensuring their seamless implementation. This role involves overseeing logistics, managing timelines, and maintaining high aesthetic quality in presentations. The manager will curate student artwork displays, collaborate with industry leaders, and support faculty and academic leaders on high-priority projects, all while upholding SCAD's design standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • At least three years of related professional experience, including project management in an academic, cultural, or design-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate various academic initiatives ensuring seamless implementation.

  • Coordinate necessary adjustments or repairs with multiple trades.
  • Develop and coordinate unique academic trips and events for students.
  • Provide networking opportunities and practical industry insights for students.
  • Serve as a primary support resource for faculty and academic leaders on high-priority projects.
  • Maintain consistency of the SCAD brand across academic projects.
