About The Position

The Academic HR Analyst will play a crucial role in the Department of Medicine by recommending, developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and procedures related to Academic Human Resources. This position focuses on various aspects of academic HR, including recruitment, appointments, compensation, faculty welfare, and equity initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training required.
• Basic knowledge of organization and college policies governing academic HR.
• Ability to interpret and apply academic HR policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with human resources management systems and related software.
• Understanding of the academic culture and educational goals of the disciplines served.
• Analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and develop policies related to Academic Human Resources.
• Implement and evaluate labor agreements and procedures.
• Manage academic recruitment, appointments, and advancements.
• Oversee compensation and salary administration.
• Administer faculty welfare programs and benefits management.
• Process visa applications for faculty members.
