St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO is seeking an experienced board-certified or board eligible internal or family medicine physician to join the hospitalist team as a day-time hospitalist while participating in teaching medical students and residents. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working inpatient care and be comfortable working as supervising physicians for advanced practice providers on the team. Responsibilities Join St. Mary's Medical Center and be an integral part of caring for patients while teaching medical students and residents. Highlights: Receive a faculty appointment based on experience See patients with medical residents and students in the inpatient and setting Participate in teaching lectures and didactics as part of the core curriculum for the IM residency program Provide mentorship to medical students and residents Participate in program evaluation and resident evaluation Position Details: Open ICU Days only 7am-7pm 12-hour shifts 7 on/7 off schedule Comfortable call Supervise APPs Full-Time position Marketable salary Full menu of benefits Medical Malpractice insurance Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1.
