About The Position

The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Louisville School of Medicine is seeking a Gastroenterologist with Motility Focus to join a division engaged in diverse clinical and academic practice, and research including multiple NIH grants and two NIH Center grants. Our division’s motility center has broad expertise in gastroparesis diagnosis and management with gastric stimulators.

Requirements

  • Completed an ACGME accredited fellowship in gastroenterology.
  • Clinical experience or research interest in GI motility.

Responsibilities

  • Participation in lectures and seminars for teaching responsibilities.
  • Bedside and endoscopic teaching of residents and students.
  • Interact with division chief and faculty for the development and implantation of future growth in the field of GI motility.
  • Clinical practice includes hospital rotations, inpatient and outpatient endoscopy, and office-based patient care.
  • Focus on foregut (gastric and small bowel) motility disorders and their treatment.
