About The Position

Academic Fellows assist School of Law (SOL) faculty by supporting the operations of the Centers for Excellence and/or the Academic Enrichment and Bar Pass program. Requirements

  • Applicant must be enrolled as a 2L or 3L at Washburn Law.
  • Professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Computer/keyboarding skills.
  • Excellent grammar; excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Understanding of legal terminology.
  • This position requires a background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in mentoring, tutoring, or providing educational content.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating special projects.
  • Communicating with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Participate in training sessions and events.
  • Staff office hours as needed.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
