About The Position

The Department of Pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include clinical service in the Cytopathology Division, which has an annual volume of 35,000 and includes a very active fine needle aspiration/core biopsy interventional service. The Surgical Pathology Division offers subspecialty sign-out, and both areas work closely with other divisions of the department, including Hematopathology and Diagnostic Molecular Pathology. In addition to clinical responsibilities and research, faculty are expected to play an active role in the teaching and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Requirements

• MD or MD/PhD degree.
• Board certified in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).
• Board certified/eligible in cytopathology from the American Board of Pathology.
• Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the state of Illinois.

• Fellowship training in oncologic surgical pathology or subspecialty area of surgical pathology.

Responsibilities
