The Academic Advisor will be expected to perform the following duties and responsibilities: Advise undergraduate students in the College of Education and Health Professions in the creation and implementation of achievable academic plans; assist with the development and revision of advising related materials and processes; provide ample appointments to support student conversations and support; work with the faculty and program coordinators of assigned academic units to disseminate information and resources to students; support student success initiatives in the college and campus; assist with new student orientation and other college recruiting efforts. Regular, non-disruptive and reliable attendance is required, as well as the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
