The CEHD Office of Academic Assistance is seeking to hire a skilled and talented Academic Advisor II who will be dedicated to undergraduate student success, possess a high attention to detail, demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills, embrace advising-related technology, think critically on the job, and exhibit a high level of motivation and initiative. The Academic Advisor II will work closely with two other advisors and the Director in the CEHD Office of Academic Assistance, as well as with department faculty and staff, but will also be required to work independently. Each advisor is assigned a specific population of students and is required to document all advising transitions in Navigate/SSC Campus. The scope of responsibility will include these essential duties but is not limited to the following:
