The Academic Advisor I provides guidance to University students on academic progress, courses, University resources, etc. Identifies courses to be completed in upcoming semesters. Explains University and College policies. May teach compass course as needed. Provides the academic advising of all UA Early College students. Develops each student's annual plan of study. Oversees approval of academic plans. Ensures that students enroll in appropriate academic courses. Coordinates communication between appropriate UAEC faculty and staff, UAEC parents, and high school personnel. Maintains appropriate database systems and records. Assists in marketing, recruiting, and coordination of delivery of UA Early College programs and services.
