About The Position
The primary responsibility of an Academic Advisor is to support new and continuing undergraduate students with an efficient delivery of Academic Advising services and support. Through these efforts, First Year Advisors play an integral role in supporting successful academic performance, engagement, satisfaction, and persistence to timely degree completion. This position's primary assignment is to undergraduate, first-year students on the NYC campus and may include instructional responsibilities along with ongoing advisement. There may be collaboration and cross-over with other programs, majors, and schools at times to maintain balanced caseloads, provide all students with the highest caliber of advisement support, and provide growth opportunities. This position reports to an Associate Director in First Year Experience Advising.
