The Academic Advisor/Divisional Advisement Coordinator for Nursing at St. Francis College plays a crucial role in supporting Nursing and Nursing Pathways students through comprehensive academic advising and relevant instructional support. The advisor will also be responsible for maintaining accurate case files and records, referring students to campus resources, and utilizing advisement scheduling software and student data resources effectively. Additionally, the advisor will work closely with the Office of Financial Aid to assist students who have lost aid eligibility, ensuring they receive the necessary support to maintain their academic standing. The role also involves participating in various college events, such as Open Houses and orientation sessions, to promote student engagement and success.
