About The Position
The Academic Advisor is responsible for providing counseling and advising support to WSU Tri-Cities prospective and current students as part of the Academic Advising Center. The incumbent will help students navigate through their college experience successfully; will counsel students on resources available at the campus and make referrals when necessary. The incumbent will be a member of a collaborative team that also assists with New Student Orientation and other essential non-academic services that assist students in degree persistence.
