Provides information to and advises both enrolled and prospective students regarding the academic programs offered by the University or a specific department, including requirements for admission and retention through graduation; may coordinate the work of entry level academic advisors. This posting is for a Learning Abroad Advisor position housed within the Learning Abroad office in the Office of the Provost at the University of Houston. The primary purpose of this position is to support and advance the University's faculty-led Learning Abroad programs and advise students from the Bauer College of Business, the Cullen College of Engineering, and the Honors College. The Learning Abroad Advisor position is responsible for recruiting, advising, and supporting students and faculty participating in Learning Abroad programs. This includes managing the faculty-led program cycle within Terra Dotta, maintaining student rosters, coordinating with faculty program leaders, and assisting with scholarship information sessions and pre-departure orientations.
