The Office of Academic Affairs within the School of Public Health at Texas A&M University is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Program Specialist II to support essential academic operations across the school. In this role, you’ll play a key part in coordinating course scheduling across departments, managing data and schedules in university systems such as Astra, SRS, and Banner, and helping resolve enrollment or scheduling issues before they impact students. You’ll work closely with faculty, advisors, and leadership to review course offerings, adjust seat limits, and ensure schedules align with program needs. You’ll also support Education Abroad programs by coordinating documentation, timelines, and logistics, serving as a point of contact for faculty and students throughout the process. Collaboration with campus partners is a regular part of the role to ensure requirements are met and processes stay on track. In addition, you’ll provide advanced administrative and project support to the Director of Curriculum, helping maintain timelines, streamline workflows, and support effective communication across teams. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys managing complex processes, balancing multiple priorities, and contributing to the smooth operation of academic programs in a dynamic higher education environment.
