About The Position

A busy family of five, residing full-time on the Upper East Side and spending summers in Southampton (Memorial Day to Labor Day), is seeking a full-time housekeeper. This position is live-out in the city and live-in during the summer while in the Hamptons. Accommodations in Southampton consist of a private bedroom and bath. Transportation costs home on days off will be covered. The family has 2 additional housekeepers on staff; however, one is transitioning into a nanny position. The schedule will be Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday, Sunday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off. This is a fantastic opportunity for a local candidate.

Requirements

• Must be able to spend summers in Southampton
• Must be legal to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of general housekeeping, including but not limited to:
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of floors
• Dusting furniture and fixtures
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen and bathrooms
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used properly and stored safely
• Follow checklists
• Maintain clean and inviting spaces
• Laundry and ironing
• Changing linens and making beds
• Maintaining household organization

Benefits
