About The Position

The AC-130J Instructor Weapon Systems Officer position at Advanced Concepts Enterprises, Inc. involves providing on-site contract instructor support for the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) 492 Special Operation Wing (SOW). The role requires delivering instruction in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force standards to ensure proficiency and qualification of aircrew members. Responsibilities include overseeing training operations, ensuring syllabus completion, and supporting various aircrew training programs.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years AFSOC aircrew experience required.
• Instructor candidates must be certified in the proposed MDS and current in U.S. military aircraft within the previous two years.
• Candidates with eight years of military operational flying duty and two years or 200 hours as an inflight instructor in the proposed MDS are also eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in accordance with DoD, USSOCOM, and AFI standards.
• Ensure syllabus tasks are 100% complete within the specified time.
• Complete the Aircrew Graduate Evaluation Program (AGEP) as per Air Force Instructions.
• Utilize air traffic control services and radio calls during instruction.
• Support instruction of the Crew Resource Management Course and CRM Facilitators Course.
• Support instruction of Night Vision Devices with qualified instructors.
• Contribute to the Critique Program with suggested changes.
