This role is for a dynamic and results-oriented CP/Trade Activation ABM to join the Aveeno Body Brand Growth team. The individual will lead the integration of brand communications and creative activation across multiple touchpoints, with a special focus on retail/trade. Responsibilities include ensuring brand equity is clear and consistent across various activations and uniquely fit for each touchpoint's objective, spanning physical and mental availability such as display creative, media assets, and in-store activations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in trade marketing, brand management, or a related field, preferably within the CPG industry
  • Strong understanding of omni-channel marketing, retail media, consumer promotions, and shopper marketing strategies
  • Proven experience in asset development for digital shelves and in-store merchandising
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret market insights and performance metrics
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

  • Has shopper marketing, trade marketing, or some activation experience
  • Proficient in retail media and media creative needs
  • Has experience working with customers in a selling capacity

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of trade marketing content, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies
  • Responsible for retail/trade creative kick off, optimization and driving creative deadlines to meet all critical deadlines
  • Partner closely with the customer teams and agency partners to ensure creative development process delivers against defined objectives, on time and effectively
  • Creative needs may range from designing for custom displays to leading brand inclusion within customer specific tentpoles/activations
  • Monitor and analyze trade marketing performance metrics to optimize future strategies
  • Support development of retail media assets, ensuring they are fit for customer needs
  • Develop local trade toolkits to support trade promotions and display artwork
  • Develop local creative assets for consumer and trade promotions, including display materials and promotional content
  • Manage the planning, execution, and reporting of national consumer promotions for Aveeno Body, coordinating across Brand Growth, Customer Strategy, CP SME and optimizing offers to drive incremental sales and strengthen brand loyalty
  • Support customer strategy in tracking promotional activity in the market and ensure team has heightened awareness to promotional calendars and future events in plan
  • Become the SME with customer activation partners and help support promotional strategy, bringing an outside-in lens and market awareness to the strategy
  • Coordinate sampling initiatives across key channels, managing logistics and cross-functional partners to ensure seamless program execution
  • Support Holiday strategy through the creation of retailer gift sets and amplification of key holiday promotions
  • Work with customer teams on annual planning process helping shape strategy and ways of working across customers and squads
  • Contribute to Business Planning (BP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes
