About The Position
The ABL Originations Director at Truist is responsible for originating, structuring, and executing asset-based lending transactions. This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with Underwriting and Portfolio Management, as well as internal partners such as Risk, Operations, and Legal. The primary goal is to ensure seamless execution of transactions while effectively mitigating risks and enhancing the client experience. The director will drive revenue by targeting specific clients and prospects in coordination with banking efforts, demonstrating subject matter expertise that translates into strategic dialogue and value-added ideas. This position also involves executing lead ABL transactions with an ABL syndicate and mentoring junior teammates to foster their development. In addition to these responsibilities, the ABL Originations Director must communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively, adhering to Truist's values and compliance policies. The role is pivotal in achieving optimal client outcomes through collaboration with various internal teams, ensuring that all aspects of the lending process are handled efficiently and effectively. The director will also be expected to stay updated on industry drivers and product positioning, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
