This position works out of our Minneapolis, MN location in the Nutrition Division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active.   • Holds full P&L accountability for the Target business, with responsibility for Net Sales, Trade ROI, and Profit Delivery.
  • Leads the development and execution of annual Joint Business Plans (JBP) with Target, aligning financial commitments, distribution, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Inspires, coaches, and develops a high-performing sales team, building bench strength and succession readiness.
  • Builds and sustains senior-level relationships with Target across all relevant parts of the business.
  • Positions Abbott Nutrition as a category growth partner by championing innovation, shaping assortment and shelf strategies, and delivering insights that drive category expansion.
  • Leads Abbott Nutrition’s omni-channel strategy with Target, including Roundel retail media, Target.com, and in-store activation.
  • Orchestrates cross-functional teams across Sales Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Shopper Insights to deliver flawless execution against joint business objectives.
  • Utilizes Target Vendor IQ, Nielsen/IRI syndicated data, and shopper panels to uncover growth opportunities and influence assortment and pricing decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in CPG/FMCG sales, with at least 3+ years managing large-scale retail accounts; direct Target experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of P&L ownership, delivering profitable growth, and leading successful Joint Business Plans with major retailers.
  • Demonstrated expertise in omni-channel commerce, retail media, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing direct reports.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with senior customer stakeholders.
