About The Position

This position involves working closely with special needs students in a supportive educational environment. The role requires collaboration with experienced special educators to assist students in a substantially separate classroom, helping them generalize learned skills in general education settings. The candidate will implement play plans and facilitate social interactions during unstructured times, as well as manage an effective behavior system.

Requirements

• Desire to work closely with special needs students.
• Degree in special education, psychology, social work, or elementary education is preferred.
• Ability or willingness to learn applied behavioral analysis methodology.
• Strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• Registered Behavior Technician training desired.
