About The Position
The job of Special Education ABA Technician is done for the purpose of providing support to the instructional program with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision, care, and instruction of students with special needs in the general education setting or in a self-contained classroom. This role involves assisting in implementing plans for instruction, monitoring and redirecting student behavior, and providing information to appropriate school personnel. This person must be trained in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
