As an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Clinical Associate at Bancroft’s Lindens Center for Autism , you’ll empower i ndividuals living with autism, intellectual, and/or developmental disabilities to realize their best life . Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or are currently enrolled in a four-year degree program
  • Have completed a minimum of 60 credits in Psychology , Applied Behavior Analysis , Social Work, Human Services or a related field
  • Want to make a difference in the lives of autistic, intellectually, and developmentally challenged individuals

Responsibilities

  • Apply ABA therapy methods and techniques to teach important life skills and help children and teens achieve their goals
  • Carry out ABA behavioral treatment plans and help prepare individuals to eventually transition to other residential environments
  • Provide assistance with activities such as personal hygiene, social awareness, meal preparation, money management, and housekeeping
  • Transport and accompany individuals to appointments and community outings
  • Collect observational data and complete all necessary paperwork
  • Communicate with residents, families, and guardians
  • Redirecting aggressive behavior and providing intervention
  • Caring for the people we serve can be physically, mentally, and emotionally tough
