About The Position

Butterfly Effects is seeking passionate ABA Behavior Technicians to make a socially meaningful change in the lives of children and families affected by autism. The company offers a welcoming environment with a leadership team that supports individual growth, including guidance and financial assistance for obtaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certifications. This part-time role focuses on working directly with children and families in their natural environments (homes, schools, centers) to teach essential skills through play-based activities. Butterfly Effects has a long history of improving lives through family-centric applied behavior analysis (ABA) and employs over 100 BCBAs and 800 behavior technicians across 12 states.

Requirements

Minimum of High School diploma
A love and Passion for working with children
Interest in learning
Valid driver's license & personal vehicle
Web Enabled Device (laptop or tablet)
At least 3 weekdays w/ same availability
Positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families

Nice To Haves

RBT certification
College course work a plus

Responsibilities

Teach young children affected by autism
Work directly with the child and the family in their natural environment (most often their home but also in schools and our centers)
Teach communication, sharing, playing, waiting, and other essential skills
Make the session fun by teaching through play-based activities
