About The Position

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician or ABA Therapist role provides 1-to-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services to children diagnosed with Autism (ASD). Therapy sessions usually run 3-4 hours and primarily take place during after school hours in the client's home, Community, and/or at our Center. Our team focuses on assigning cases as locally as possible (usually within 30 minutes) to your home address or regular school/other work location Travel time pay and mileage reimbursements are available (when applicable).

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
Valid Driver's License (Required)
Friendly, energetic, and enjoys working with individuals with special needs
Experience with children
Ability to attend an initial orientation
Timely and organized
Ability to work independently
Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations
Must have a reliable, personal vehicle
Must be able to work 2- 3 weekday afternoons to evenings (ie. 3-8:00PM)
Looking to work 10+ Hours per week (Part Time)

Nice To Haves

Some Saturday availability is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Manage 1-1 ABA services for kids with Autism Spectrum Disorders
Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Run regular sessions (about 2-5 hours)
Flexible hours/custom scheduling
Work in home, center, and/or Community settings -depends on client's needs
Working with families for effective collaboration
Submitting all required paperwork in a timely manner
Electronic Data collection
Implementing individualized behavior support plans
Implementing skill acquisition programs

Pay starts at $20.00 - $23.00 per hour with increases of $1-$4 in the first 3-6 months.
