Day-to-day as aN ABA Behavior Technician As a Full-Time ABA Behavior Technician at Arches ABA Therapy, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to work in-clinic with children aged 2-6, directly impacting their lives through personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions. Your hands-on approach will be essential in helping children with Autism navigate challenges and reach critical developmental milestones. In this role, you'll engage your clients and apply techniques to meet each child's unique needs, ensuring they receive the highest quality care. Requirements

  • Must possess and provide written proof of at least a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED or HiSET).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board (LBAB) registered line technician certification (to be paid by employer upon hire).
  • Obtain and maintain certifications for CPR and BLS (to be paid by employer upon hire).
  • Possess a valid (not expired) driver's license.
  • Demonstrate passion and patience for working with young children.
  • Exhibit strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to lift and carry clients.
  • Must be able to sit on the floor and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to maintain a variety of stances (stand, kneel, crawl, squat) for an extended time.
  • Must be able to run for short distances.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must demonstrate manual dexterity to type, use electronic devices, and manipulate small items such as toys.
  • Must have the visual acuity to read and comprehend written and electronic communication.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is always preferred.
