The Assistant Clinical Supervisor will play a crucial role in implementing and supervising individual Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs and interventions in various applied settings. This position requires a deep understanding of ABA principles and the ability to apply them independently. The Assistant Clinical Supervisor will conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and other necessary assessments as per insurance provider requirements. They will be responsible for updating skills acquisition and behavior reduction programs to reflect each client's development and progress towards their identified goals. Regular analysis of session data and documentation review will be essential to ensure the effectiveness of the interventions. In addition to direct supervision of ABA programs for an assigned caseload, the Assistant Clinical Supervisor will hold monthly clinical meetings that include both direct and supervisory staff. Collaboration with stakeholders regarding a client's treatment is a key responsibility, as is the implementation of parent training using designated curricula. The role also involves developing lesson plans, making recommendations for materials, and gathering necessary resources for programs. The Assistant Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical support to Program Supervisors and Behavior Interventionists, offering ongoing performance feedback and recommendations consistent with ABA practices and ethical standards. The position requires direct intervention with clients, either one-on-one or in small group settings, across various environments such as home, school, community, and clinic. The Assistant Clinical Supervisor must ensure that clients receive research-based interventions and may need to adjust the treatment team to meet client needs. They will also lead training sessions for staff, assist in developing training protocols, and conduct formal performance reviews. Maintaining accurate documentation of all billable tasks in compliance with regulatory agencies and HIPAA is critical. Participation in client meetings, including IEPs, and maintaining a clean and organized therapeutic environment are also part of the role. The Assistant Clinical Supervisor must adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts and continuously update their technical knowledge through required training.
