This role is considered Essential Duty Personnel, which means you are the one we count on when it matters most. You will work as scheduled—including weekends and holidays—rain, snow, or shine! We are currently hiring for second shift positions based out of our Harrisburg and Lancaster locations. If you are ready to take on a role where reliability and leadership truly make a difference, we would love to have you on our team!

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A clean driving record and a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license—safety first!
  • Previous customer service experience and a genuine passion for helping people in need.
  • Clear, confident communication—whether in person, on the phone, or online.
  • A flexible, can-do attitude and a love for learning new things every day.
  • Tech-savvy skills to navigate our systems with ease.
  • A go-getter mindset that keeps you motivated and ready for action.
  • Stellar communication skills and the ability to build trust with every interaction.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a big heart for helping others.

Responsibilities

  • Perform roadside assistance like on-scene evaluations, unlocking vehicles, changing flat tires, delivering fuel, and fixing minor issues (yes, even replacing windshield wipers!).
  • Handle battery services—test, diagnose, prep, install, explain warranties, and complete documentation like a pro.
  • Help customers understand their service options and introduce them to all the great AAA Central Penn products and services.
  • Make smart decisions independently while following company policies and AAA Quality Standards.
  • Report any defects or concerns promptly to your supervisor.
  • Maintain your assigned vehicle and tools, inspect equipment daily, and ensure safety systems are good to go.
  • Provide positive, professional, and empathetic experiences every time—urgency and care matter!

Benefits

  • Generous, front-loaded Paid Time Off (PTO); no need to wait until you’ve accrued PTO.
  • 1 personal day.
  • 8 paid company holidays including Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits.
  • Health Savings Account (with employer contribution) and Flexible Spending Account options.
  • 401(k) with up to 6% company matching, plus you are fully vested upon your first contribution.
  • Life Insurance and Long Term Disability at no out of check cost to our team.
  • Earn up to 3 extra PTO days a year for time spent volunteering in the community and attending AAA Cares events.
  • Tuition Reimbursement.
  • Free AAA Premier Membership.
  • Discounts and perks including travel, branch services, car batteries, and more!
