About The Position

The position involves driving and operating a specific service vehicle, such as tow trucks and battery service vehicles, to assist AAA members and for commercial purposes. The role includes performing simple diagnostics and troubleshooting on vehicles while providing an outstanding customer service experience. No prior experience is needed as thorough training will be provided for the right candidate. Flexibility is required as the schedule includes swing shifts and weekends. Candidates must be 21 years or older.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic shift vehicles.
• Clear and proficient verbal and written communication skills, even under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Driving and operating a service vehicle for various roadside assistance tasks such as flat tire changes, lock-outs, and fuel delivery services.
• Interacting with customers on-scene to establish rapport, build relationships, and solve problems.
• Utilizing sales skills to offer AAA products and services during service interactions.
• Using on-board computer systems, radio communications, and mapping systems effectively.
• Completing daily paperwork including call logs, battery invoices, and cash receipts.
