About The Position

The Patient Care Technician at AdventHealth Connerton plays a vital role in providing care for medically complex patients under the supervision of professional nurses. This position focuses on assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a safe and respectful environment for patients, while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Current Florida certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or EMT.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, skin care, nutritional needs, and comfort measures.
• Perform basic general patient care routines and tasks in a safe and competent manner.
• Maintain and care for patient care equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning.
• Actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships with all individuals.
• Adhere to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable regulations.
