About The Position

This role will be responsible for running all aspects of the sponge operation. Take direction from the department supervisor on a daily basis.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience
• Mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate and troubleshoot sponge manufacturing equipment to ensure the safe, efficient production of sponge sheets.
• Perform visual inspection and property testing on sponge sheets in accordance with quality control procedures.
• Work with engineering and production on continuous improvements, work instructions and six sigma projects as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
