About The Position

IES Residential, Inc. is seeking a full-time A/V Technician to join our high-performing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, customer-focused, and eager to grow within one of the fastest-growing sectors in residential construction. New hires will gain hands-on experience and develop valuable technical skills in the audio/video and home technology industry.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of relevant industry experience preferred
Willingness to learn and grow in the field
Strong customer service skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for company vehicle use)
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Some college preferred

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a team of technicians on residential installations
Run cabling through walls, ceilings, floors, and other structures
Terminate cables using compression, crimping, and other methods
Mount TVs, projectors, speakers, lifts, and other A/V equipment
Perform basic testing to ensure proper installation and system performance
Assist lead technicians to ensure installations meet quality standards
Configure inputs/outputs for audio, video, and home entertainment systems
Troubleshoot and service A/V equipment and control systems
Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with codes and regulations
