As an Auto Service Tech/Mechanic, you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver.

Requirements

• Experience in auto service OR recent completion of automotive tech/trade school.
• Valid driver's license.
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, A/C equipment, etc.
• Must be willing to pass a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Perform maintenance service including oil changes, tire work, and other needed maintenance items.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
• Learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to keep up with rapidly changing technology.
• Inspect vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
